 I was enable contribute to the workshop on Digitalizing Research & Education Content on LEARN FOSS Free Open Cloud Platform - 2nd Round

LEARN offers a centrally hosted, Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) cloud platform as a value-added service at no additional cost to its connected member institutions (excluding private institutions). This platform provides a suite of tools to support academic content creation, delivery, and collaboration. The available services include:

1. eduID for authentication and authorization via the LEARN Identity Access Federation (LIAF).

2. Webinar Platform – LEARN vCR (powered by BigBlueButton)

3. Learning Management System – Moodle as a Service

4. Content Management System – WordPress as a service

5. Research Publication Repository – DSpace CRIS with ORCID integration

6. Conference and Meeting Management – Indico

Apart from above hosted cloud services for content creation, delivery, and collaboration, following FOSS tools for desktop content creation will also be discussed.

1. Tools for On-demand video content creation/editing.

2. LibreOffice office productivity software suite (similar to Microsoft Office).
